About Zane Ruttenberg

Zane Ruttenberg is an artist, musician & filmmaker based out of Austin, Texas.

His art career began back in 2005 when he started painting cubist portraits when studying art in High-School. After much encouragement from teachers, friends and family, he began painting more frequently in recent years, having his first official art showing in 2018 at the Lone Star Art Space in San Antonio. Since then, more art showings have followed, and he has gone on to sell numerous pieces to private collectors, businesses and organizations across the United States.

Aside from painting, Ruttenberg is a prolific musician and filmmaker. In 2006 Ruttenberg attended the University of Texas at Austin’s Radio, Television and Film school, expanding his creative expertise and studies.

Often wearing multiple hats in his countless and various creative productions, his DIY ethos can be seen in all aspects of his work. A tireless mind, willing to go to the farthest reaches of effort to bring his ideas to fruition.

Ruttenberg runs his own productions studio called Enjoy Eyes Productions as well as his own record label, Enjoy Ears Records.

He has written numerous songs and performed countless shows under the moniker Thanks Light…

He currently resides in Austin, Texas with his dog June Bug.
